Pastis is Michaela' current competition male. He is a son of Coca cola Betkin dvor and Insane vd Berlex-Hoeve.

Pastis is a large and athletically built male who is also very agile, 66 cm/42 kg.  

He has balanced drives, with no reaction to strange environments, and is strongly bonded to the handler. He is an accomplished dog on a trial field who consistently scores high in all 3 disciplines of IGP.

 

Pastis is very easy to train, his goal is to please. His strongest motivation to work is the interaction with his handler; for him, a toy is simply the means to get this interaction. In Obedience, he is open and happy yet very focused on any task that is required of him. In Protection, he shows hard grips and often tries to utilize his strong body in the fight with the helper. In tracking, he shows calm and focused behaviour which gives him endurance and precision for more advanced tracks in any weather and surface.

 

At home, Pastis is a calm and very affectionate dog, who like many malinois, loves close contact with his family members. He travels well and is relaxed when kenneled or being crated.

 

He is social with his family members but has his threshold for taking affection from strangers.
